Classification standard and working principle of heating furnace

The heating furnace includes a continuous heating furnace, a chamber heating furnace, and the like. The heating furnace for metal heat treatment is also called heat treatment furnace. The furnace that heats the ingot before the initial rolling or averages the internal temperature of the ingot is called the soaking furnace. In a broad sense, the heating furnace also includes a soaking furnace and a heat treatment furnace. In the forging and rolling consumption, the billet is heated in the oxidizing atmosphere of the complete flame.

The use of incomplete extinguished restorative flame (I. e., "self-maintenance atmosphere") to directly heat the metal can achieve the purpose of no oxidation or less oxidation. This kind of heating method is called open flame type or open flame type without oxidation heating, and it is successfully applied to rotary bottom type heating furnace and chamber type heating furnace.
